Gemini vs ChatGPT vs Claude in Pakistan (2026): Argon & Carbon vs Terra & Dots vs Opus & Duet

Three AI giants, six shiny new names, and one question every Pakistani is asking: which one is actually worth my rupees? In this Gemini vs ChatGPT vs Claude showdown, we compare Google’s Gemini 4 Argon and Carbon, OpenAI’s GPT-6.1 Terra and ChatGPT Dots, and Anthropic’s Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Duet. We look at what they do, what they cost in PKR, and, most importantly, whether you can even use them from Pakistan.

First, What Are All These Names?

Each company now has a “brain” (the model) and an “agent” (something that works for you in the background):

Can You Use Them in Pakistan?

This is where the hype meets reality.

ToolWhich planPrice (approx. PKR/month)In Pakistan?
Gemini 4 ArgonGoogle AI ProRs 5,600Yes
Gemini 4 CarbonEarly access only (security experts, partners)Not on sale yetNo, not yet for anyone
GPT-6.1 TerraChatGPT Plus and above (in ChatGPT Work and Codex)About Rs 5,600 ($20)Yes
ChatGPT DotsPro 100 and aboveAbout Rs 28,000 ($100)Yes, but pricey
Claude Opus 5.5Claude Pro and aboveAbout Rs 5,600 ($20)Yes
Claude DuetPro or Max, US accounts onlyAbout Rs 5,600 ($20)No, US-only waitlist

Dollar prices converted at about Rs 280. Google AI Pro shows Rs 5,600 in Pakistan. Your bank may also add 0.5% (filer) or 1% (non-filer) advance tax on foreign card payments.

So, two of the six (Carbon and Duet) you can’t use at all right now. One (Dots) costs more than many people’s monthly electricity bill. That leaves three real choices, and they all cost roughly the same: about Rs 5,600 a month.

1. Google Gemini 4 Argon: Best Value for Most People

The catch: the cheaper Google AI Plus plan (Rs 1,400) doesn’t include Argon. And Carbon, Google’s newest and smartest model, isn’t open to the public yet. Early tests also show Carbon makes up answers more often than Argon (an 11% hallucination rate vs 4%), so don’t rush.

2. ChatGPT Terra and Dots: Best for Freelancers Who Automate

The catch: Free and Go users don’t get Terra. You need Plus. And Dots, the always-on agent everyone’s talking about, needs the Pro 100 plan at around Rs 28,000 a month. For most Pakistani freelancers, that’s a month’s rent.

3. Claude Opus 5.5 and Duet: Best for Coding and Writing

The catch: the free plan doesn’t include Opus 5.5. And Claude Duet, the morning-brief, inbox-checking agent, is US-only for now. Pakistanis are stuck watching from the outside.

For Developers: API Prices Compared

ModelInput (per 1M tokens)Output (per 1M tokens)
GPT-6.1 Terra$1$5
Gemini 4 Argon / Carbon$2 (intro price until end of 2026)$10
Claude Opus 5.5$4$20

If you’re building apps for Pakistani clients on a tight budget, Terra is the cheapest. Gemini’s price doubles to $4/$20 from January, so watch out.

Gemini vs ChatGPT vs Claude: Our Verdict for Pakistan

The Rant

Every AI company is now selling “agents that work while you sleep.” Great. But the best agents are either US-only or priced in dollars that hurt in rupees. The AI race is real, but for Pakistan, the most powerful tools are always a few months, and a few thousand rupees, out of reach. Pick one Rs 5,600 plan that fits your work, use it properly, and ignore the hype.
