How to Apply for a Child CRC (B-Form) – Getting a Child Registration Certificate (CRC), commonly known as a B-Form, used to mean dedicating an entire day to waiting in line at a local NADRA center. However, the process has become incredibly streamlined in 2026.

By utilizing the official Pak-ID Mobile App (available for Android and iOS), parents can now initiate and manage their family’s identity registrations directly from their smartphones. Through this system, you can easily apply for a new CRC, modify an existing one, or request a reprint without the traditional hassle.

Here is how you can utilize the app to seamlessly apply for your child’s B-Form.

How to Apply for a Child CRC (B-Form)

1. What You Will Need Before You Start

Before opening the app, make sure you have digital photos of the following documents saved on your phone, as you will need to upload them during the process:

2. The Application Process

1. Download and Register:

Download the official ‘Pak-ID’ app from your respective app store. Create a new account using your own CNIC, mobile number, and email. You will need to verify your identity through an OTP (One-Time Password).

2. Select Identity Services:

Once logged into the dashboard, navigate to the “Identity Documents” section and select the option for a “New CRC (B-Form)”.

3. Fill in the Data and Upload Documents:

Carefully enter the child’s details exactly as they appear on the Union Council birth certificate. When prompted, upload the digital copies of the birth certificate, parent CNICs, and the child’s photograph.

4. Parent Biometric Verification:

The app’s standout feature is its ability to capture biometrics directly. You will be prompted to authenticate your identity as a parent by scanning your fingerprints using your smartphone’s rear camera.

5. Digital Signature and Payment:

Sign the application electronically using your phone’s touchscreen. Finally, pay the required application fee securely within the app using a credit/debit card or a mobile wallet. The fee is currently set at Rs. 50 for standard processing and Rs. 500 for the executive category.

A Note on Physical Verification

While the Pak-ID app handles the vast majority of the processing, document uploading, and payments, there are specific scenarios where NADRA policy may still require a brief physical visit to a center. This is particularly common if the child is older than 10, where their own biometric capture might be necessary to complete the registration.

Once your application is approved, you can track its delivery status in real-time directly through the app’s dashboard.
