It was supposed to be a diplomatic victory. Last week in Davos, many leaders signed the charter for Donald Trump’s “Gaza Board of Peace” (BoP) including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt. The government told us this was Pakistan returning to the global stage to save Gaza. 24 hours later, the slap came. Israeli Economy Minister Nir Barkat told international media: “Pakistan is not welcome in Gaza. We will not trust them with boots on the ground.” So, we signed a deal to “police” Gaza, only to be told by the occupier that we aren’t allowed in. But while we argue about diplomatic insults, something much darker was revealed this week. A leaked Israeli cabinet proposal—dubbed the “Devil’s Plan” and Gaza by many people—shows exactly why Netanyahu is letting this “Peace Board” exist.
1. The “Devil’s Plan” and Gaza (North Gaza Annexation)
While the world looks at the “Peace Board,” Israel is quietly executing “Phase II” on the ground. Leaked maps from the Israeli Finance Ministry (Bezalel Smotrich’s office) suggest a terrifying reality for 2026:
- The Plan: The division of Gaza into “Green Zones” (South) and “Red Zones” (North).
- The Goal: To declare North Gaza (Beit Lahia, Jabalia, Gaza City) as a “Permanent Security Perimeter.”
- The Trick: The plan proposes that the “Peace Board” (funded by Saudis and managed by the US) will be responsible for the South, where 2 million Palestinians are crammed. Meanwhile, the North will be slowly cleared and annexed for “Settlement Expansion.”
Netanyahu isn’t looking for peace. He is looking for a Property Manager for the refugee camps while he steals the prime land in the North.
2. Pakistan’s “Trap”
This is where it gets dangerous for Islamabad. By joining the Board, Pakistan has agreed to be part of the “security solution.” If the “Devil’s Plan” goes through, Pakistani and Turkish troops (if ever allowed in) will be tasked with disarming Palestinians in the South, effectively acting as security guards for Israel’s new border.
- The Opposition: PTI and JUI have already rejected the Board, calling it “Colonialism 2.0.”
- The Dilemma: If we stay, we are complicit. If we leave, we anger the US and lose IMF goodwill.
3. The “Buffer Zone” Reality
Satellite images from Jan 28th show that the “Buffer Zone” near the Israeli border has been expanded to 1.5 km. Entire neighborhoods in Khan Younis have been bulldozed after the ceasefire was supposedly signed. The “Peace Board” talks about reconstruction, but you cannot rebuild a house if the land it stood on is now a military zone.
Verdict
The “Board of Peace” is looking less like a reconstruction effort and more like a Real Estate Scam. Israel has successfully outsourced the cost of feeding the refugees to the Muslim world (via the Board), while it keeps the land for itself. Pakistan needs to wake up. We supposedly signed a paper to help Palestinians, but we might end up helping Netanyahu finish the job.
