All eyes are on GAZA. The so called ‘Gaza peace plan’ is in tatters. And they have a new target in Lebanon.
The world’s media, diplomats, and leaders are fixated on the escalating, unprovoked war Israel launched in the north. Every analyst on TV is discussing Hezbollah’s response, the movement of naval carriers, and the “new front” in this regional conflict.
This is exactly what Israel wanted.
Because the ‘loud’ war in Lebanon distracts the world, a ‘quiet’ war continues in Gaza. The so-called ’20-Point Peace Plan’ is not just dead; Israel is actively using it as a diplomatic shield to conduct a methodical, low-intensity slaughter of Gazans, free from the world’s scrutiny.
As we predicted in our “They Cease, We Fire” article, the Gaza ceasefire was never a peace plan. It was a strategic pause. It was a lie.
‘Peace’ That Was Promised vs. The Reality
The peace deal promised an ‘immediate end to war’ and a ‘full humanitarian aid’ flow. What we are witnessing is a perversion of those terms, a cynical play on words.
The large-scale bombing may have subsided, however, the killing has not stopped. It has just become more granular and sinister.
Reports from local health officials—reports that major international media are ignoring—paint a horrifying picture. Israeli forces, redeployed along the new “yellow line” (a glorified buffer zone), are enforcing it with live ammunition.
- On Sunday, Israeli snipers shot and killed two young men in Khan Younis who were reportedly trying to salvage belongings from their destroyed homes. They were accused of “crossing the line.”
- On Tuesday, a “limited” Israeli airstrike on a coffeehouse in Zawaida killed six people. The official excuse was that it was a “retaliatory strike” for an alleged truce violation.
- This past week alone, Israeli forces have killed dozens of Palestinians, including women and children, in these ‘limited,’ ‘retaliatory,’ or ‘pre-emptive’ strikes.
This isn’t a ceasefire. This is a managed, ongoing slaughter. It’s a pest control operation, not a peace process. Israel is simply finishing the job in the dark while it performs its new act of aggression in the spotlight.
The Real Weapon: A Tighter Siege
Worse than the bullets are the gates. The deal promised 600 aid trucks a day. That was the central pillar of the “humanitarian” component.
In reality, Israel has used the new war in Lebanon as an excuse to shut down all crossings. Aid shipments were “temporarily halted” due to the “security situation” this week. That temporary halt is now in its fifth day.
The UNRWA, the primary lifeline for millions, remains banned. The promised aid, the life-saving medicine, the fuel for hospital generators—it’s all sitting in trucks in the Sinai while Israel starves Gaza into submission.
This is the quiet war. Killing with snipers, shelling, and—most effectively—by withholding food and medicine.
Don’t Be Fooled by the Distraction
This two-front strategy is diabolically simple.
- The Loud War (Lebanon): Launch a shocking, full-scale attack on a new front. This captures the world’s headlines, scrambles diplomacy, and forces the media to relocate their cameras from Gaza to Beirut.
- The Quiet War (Gaza): Under the cover of this new “fog of war,” continue to kill, besiege, and crush the Gazan population. The media dismisses any killing that people report as a minor ‘skirmish’ or a ‘necessary response’ in a ‘fragile’ ceasefire, while the real war is happening up north.
The ceasefire is a lie. It is a diplomatic cover for a two-front war of aggression. The leaders who brokered this deal are now either silent or weakly “calling for de-escalation” in Lebanon, having already forgotten the promises they made to Gaza.
We must not be fooled. We must not allow the spectacle in the north to blind us to the methodical genocide continuing in the south. The goal has not changed. Only the tactic. From River To The Sea…
