They are not flagship devices from Nokia they are more like budget high-performance smartphones. The biggest difference here is that these phones are now run on Android OS. Here is a look at the Nokia 5 review for your benefit. Don’t forget to read if you are thinking about buying the Nokia 5 phone.

Screen and Design

Nokia 5 has a fairly satisfying screen it’s not a very high-end bezel-less display since it is a budget smartphone. It has a 5.2” IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which has 720×1280 pixels 16:9 ratio (~282 PPI density).

Nokia 5 Review

It has 68.7% screen to body which is not that bad. The display is made of Corning Gorilla Glass which makes the display scratch resistance and is able to withstand high drops.

Nokia 5 has a very classy and stylish aluminum body which is made by a single piece of aluminum this gives the phones a very clean look and the antenna lines are moved at the top and bottom. This design gives the phone a very great feeling and adds a grip to it. It really doesn’t look like a budget smartphone and materials used in this phone are of high quality since Nokia is famous for their high quality and reliable phones and Nokia managed to keep that quality for its consumers.

The aluminum power button and volume rockers both are located at the right side of the phone, on the left side has the sim card and micro SD card slot Nokia 5 does have an expandable storage.

The home button is located at the bottom of the phone which also houses a fingerprint sensor in it which uses the latest fingerprint technology and is very responsive.

Nokia 5 also has capacitive touch buttons on the both sides of the home button one to go back from an app and the other one is for switching between apps and they are also backlit if you are using your phone at night.

Nokia 5 Review – Camera

The Phone has a 13Mp camera with dual tone LED flash at the back which takes some remarkable pictures and is capable of f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, 1/3″ sensor size, 1.12 µm pixel size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and it can shoot videos in 1080p@30fps.

The front camera is 8Mp wide angle lens to take some great selfies. The back camera is also great in taking picture in night thanks to the Nokia 5’s phase detection autofocus, wide aperture and dual-tone flash.

Performance

Nokia 5 has a 2gb RAM and has a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 which is an Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53. This processor makes the phone faster and the phone will never lag or slow down.

It also an Adreno 505 GPU for some average gaming despite of having 2gb RAM this device still gets the job done and is very efficient.

Android

As you know that Nokia 5 uses android.

It originally came with Android 7.1.1 Nougat but there is a planned upgrade to the new Android 8.0 Oreo.

Its endurance rating is 84h, in which talk time is 18:34h, Web browsing 12:17h, Video playback 12:52h.

This battery timing is still better than some of the flagship smartphones and it will last you easily for a whole day and you will still have battery remaining.
